ABOUT US
Built by RCM operators, for the teams who get claims paid.
WeRrcm builds RCM automation for US healthcare. Our first product is real-time eligibility automation for medical billing companies, operations teams, hospitals and physician practices.
Most denials begin before a claim is ever sent, when coverage is checked too late or not at all. WeRrcm checks every appointment against the payer, applies 60+ business rules to each patient and each insurance, and writes clear notes back into the practice management system. Billing teams know about active coverage, copays and remaining limits before the patient arrives.

EA
Elavarasi Arjunan
Founder
B.E. Mechanical, Anna University1,000+ people ledIndia & Dubai
Elavarasi founded WeRrcm with one belief: billing teams in US healthcare deserve tools that prevent problems instead of tools that only report them.
She is a mechanical engineer with a B.E. from Anna University. She built her career in management across India and Dubai, leading large operations teams of more than 1,000 people. That experience taught her what makes operations run well at scale: clear processes, accountability and people who trust the systems they work with.
At WeRrcm, she brings that same discipline as Founder and CFO. She leads the company’s financial strategy and governance, and she has funded WeRrcm’s growth from day one, without outside investment or debt. Under her leadership, WeRrcm has become a women-led healthcare technology company serving billing companies across the United States.

Manikandan has spent 25 years in US healthcare across both the clinical and revenue cycle domains, and he has seen what goes wrong inside billing operations.
Before WeRrcm, he led teams that processed more than 100,000 claims a month at success rates above 90%. They worked with enterprise healthcare and data organizations, and they built products for care management, behavioral health and ACO implementation, along with their own clearinghouse.
At WeRrcm, he leads product, operations and client success, and works directly with clients, from a pilot’s first day to full-scale automation.
“Eligibility denials are a timing problem, not a staffing problem. We built WeRrcm so the right information reaches billing teams before the claim goes out, not after it comes back.”
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions about eligibility verification and RCM automation
Everything you need to know before getting started with WeRrcm.
How long does it take to go live with WeRrcm?+
Most practices are live within 24 hours. We connect to your payers, import your patient roster, and run your first batch eligibility file the same day. No IT team required.
Do I need to change my EHR or billing software?+
No. WeRrcm works alongside your existing EHR and PM system. Start with standard appointment imports (XLSX/CSV) and ANSI X12 270/271 transactions, with no IT project. With AdvancedMD and many other PM systems we pull appointments and write results back automatically, and we build connectors for any new PM/EHR at no extra cost under agreement.
Which payers are supported?+
WeRrcm connects to 3,500+ US payers through certified clearinghouse connections, with 1,250+ live for real-time eligibility. That includes Medicare, state Medicaid programs and Medicaid MCOs, Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Humana, Tricare and regional commercial plans. If a payer you bill is not mapped yet, send us the list and we map it during onboarding.
What happens when a patient is found ineligible?+
The patient is flagged before the visit with the reason (for example AAA-72 member ID mismatch or AAA-75 subscriber not found) and the corrective action. WeRrcm retries transient payer errors automatically, can run Insurance Discovery to find other active coverage, and writes a clear note back to your PM (inactive, self-pay or Medicaid) so the front desk knows what to collect or fix.
Is the platform HIPAA compliant?+
Yes. WeRrcm acts as your Business Associate and signs a BAA before any PHI is shared. Data is hosted only in the US on AWS under a signed AWS BAA, encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit, with CloudTrail audit logs kept for 7 years, MFA and least-privilege access. Independent penetration testing is in place and our SOC 2 Type I audit is underway, targeting January 2027.
What is WeRrcm?+
WeRrcm is US healthcare revenue cycle management software (RCM software): an AI-powered healthcare automation platform for medical billing companies and small to mid-size hospitals. It automates insurance eligibility verification, prior authorization, claim scrubbing and submission, denials, appeals, payment posting and A/R. WeRrcm won Best AI-Powered US Healthcare RCM Platform at the 10th GCC Leadership Conclave in October 2026.
What is automated insurance eligibility verification?+
Automated insurance eligibility verification checks a patient’s coverage with the payer electronically, before the visit, instead of by phone or portal. WeRrcm sends a 270 request for every primary, secondary and tertiary insurance, reads the 271 response, applies 60+ rules, and writes the result into the practice management system.
What is a 270/271 transaction?+
A 270 is the HIPAA standard X12 request a provider sends to ask a payer about a patient’s coverage. The 271 is the payer’s response, listing active status, plan, copay, deductible, benefit limits and other coverage. WeRrcm turns each 271 into a plain-English note your team can act on.
How do medical billing companies automate eligibility checks for many clients?+
They use a multi-tenant platform such as WeRrcm, which pulls appointments for every client practice each day, runs batch 270/271 checks across 3,500+ payers, keeps each client’s data separate, and returns results and exception reports per client, so the team scales without adding staff.
Can small and mid-size hospitals use WeRrcm?+
Yes. Small and mid-size hospitals, including community, rural and critical access hospitals, use WeRrcm across the hospital revenue cycle: real-time eligibility at scheduling and patient access, insurance discovery for self-pay patients, prior authorization tracking, claim scrubbing and denial follow-up, with US-only data hosting and a signed HIPAA Business Associate Agreement.
How does WeRrcm reduce claim denials?+
WeRrcm stops denials before claims are sent: it verifies coverage on every appointment, tracks prior authorizations, checks medical necessity and timely filing, and scrubs every claim against 1,000+ rules. When a denial does happen, it classifies the reason and generates the appeal.
How does billing work?+
Billing is prepaid. You either pay one month in advance, or set up an automatic top-up when usage reaches an agreed threshold. There is no setup fee.
What counts as an eligibility check?+
Each 270 request and 271 response for one patient and one insurance counts as a check. When a claim for that patient is submitted through WeRrcm, one eligibility check is included free (one per claim). Repeat checks on the same patient are billed separately.
Can you customize rules and workflows for our clients?+
Yes. WeRrcm takes the full technical role end to end. Client-specific business rules, PM/EHR connectors and white-label UI for partners are included at no extra cost, depending on workflow complexity and agreement.
Can WeRrcm provide people as well as software?+
Yes. Our managed RCM team works A/R follow-up, exceptions and manual tasks alongside the automation, priced per FTE. You get automation and people from one accountable vendor.
Can each client practice be kept separate?+
Yes. WeRrcm is a multi-tenant platform: every client practice is its own tenant with isolated data, payers, rules and reports. Role-based access control lets you decide which users see which clients and modules, and multi-factor authentication protects every login.
Is WeRrcm medical billing software?+
WeRrcm is RCM automation software that works alongside your medical billing software or practice management system, such as AdvancedMD and many others. It does not replace your PM: it automates eligibility verification, claims, denials, payment posting and A/R inside the workflow you already use. Billing companies that need people as well can add our managed team for medical billing services and RCM outsourcing.
What is benefits verification (VOB)?+
Benefits verification, or verification of benefits (VOB), confirms what a patient’s plan will pay before a visit: active coverage, copay, coinsurance, deductible and visit limits. WeRrcm automates VOB with real-time and batch 270/271 checks, including Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, and writes the results into your system.
What is the best eligibility verification software for billing companies?+
Billing companies should look for eligibility verification software that checks every client’s appointments automatically, covers primary, secondary and tertiary insurance, applies business rules instead of returning raw 271 data, retries failed checks, keeps client data separate, and writes results back to the PM. WeRrcm was built for exactly this, and won Best AI-Powered US Healthcare RCM Platform in 2026.
Where is our data stored?+
Only in the United States, on AWS infrastructure covered by a signed Business Associate Agreement. Our engineering team is based in Bengaluru, India and works under HIPAA safeguards with least-privilege, audited access.

Serving US medical billing companies, practices and hospitals. We schedule demos across US time zones, ET to PT.
Run a real-time check
Open Eligibility and choose Real-Time.
Enter or select the patient, payer and service date.
Submit. The 271 response returns in about 1.4 seconds on average.
Run a batch
Upload your appointment file (XLSX or CSV), or let the scheduled import pull it from your PM.
WeRrcm sends a 270 for every primary, secondary and tertiary insurance.
Results and an exception report are ready when the batch completes; 100,000 records finish in under 10 minutes.
Read a response
Each result shows active/inactive status, plan type, copay, deductible, total and used limits, and the note that will be written back to your PM.
Troubleshoot a failed check
Failed checks show the AAA code and the corrective action. Transient payer errors are retried automatically; data errors (wrong ID, name or date of birth) need a fix and a re-run.
Daily snapshot
Summary cards show checks processed, eligible, ineligible and review counts, average response time and accuracy for the selected date range and client.
Top payers
See volume and failure rate by payer to spot connection or enrollment issues early.
AAA errors
Errors are grouped by AAA code (for example 72 ID mismatch, 75 subscriber not found, 79 payer timeout) so you can fix the root cause, not each claim.
MCO compliance
The latest MCO scan results and any patients needing action appear in the compliance panel.
Diagnostics explains why a transaction failed and what to do next.
Pick the area: eligibility, claims, denials or adjustments.
Filter by client, payer and date.
Open a group to see each affected record with its error, root cause and recommended fix.
Export the list to share with the practice or your team.
The payer list shows every connected payer, its payer ID and its EDI mapping.
Search by payer name or ID.
Map the payer names in your PM to the correct payer IDs so checks route correctly.
Request a new payer mapping from the same screen; our team adds it during onboarding or within your support SLA.
Choose the source: a scheduled download from your PM (AdvancedMD and many others) or a recurring XLSX/CSV import.
Set the schedule, for example nightly so results are ready before the clinic opens.
Pick the date window. Reruns for past dates pull only new appointments, so nothing is duplicated.
Turn on write-back to send notes to your PM insurance notes.
Review the run history and exception report each morning.
The MCO compliance scan runs automatically on the 1st of every month and can also be run on demand.
Select the clients and MCO plans to scan.
Review results for plan changes, network status, authorization expiry and timely filing risk.
Assign follow-ups and export the list for each practice.
Experian Health's 2026 State of Claims survey (Oct 2026) found that 75% of providers see denials rising and 40% have denial rates above 10% of claims. 78% say payer policies change more often than before. A separate 2026 survey of RCM leaders by Adonis found teams spend 51 to 75 hours a week on denial work, and 62% name denials and underpayments as their top obstacle.
Where billing companies should act first
Fix the front end. Missing coverage information and registration errors remain among the leading causes. Check every appointment, every insurance, before the visit.
Turn data into decisions. A raw 271 does not help a biller. Apply rules per patient and per insurance and write the verdict where the team works.
Watch payer changes monthly. MCO and plan rules move fast; a monthly compliance scan catches changes before they become denials.
Pair automation with people. Automation clears the volume; a trained team handles the exceptions.

Most eligibility denials start before the claim is created: coverage was checked too late, only for the primary insurance, or not at all. Adding staff to work those denials afterwards treats the symptom.
Move the check upstream
Checking every appointment the night before, for primary, secondary and tertiary coverage, means the front desk knows about inactive plans, copays and remaining visit limits before the patient arrives.
Make the result readable
WeRrcm applies 60+ business rules to each patient and insurance and writes a plain note back into the PM: active or inactive, copay, total and used limits, self-pay, Medicare or Medicaid. Billers act on a sentence, not a 271 file.
Recover the failures
Payer timeouts and transient errors are retried automatically, so failed transactions become results instead of tasks.
Medicaid managed care members change plans, lose eligibility or switch networks more often than commercial members. A patient who was covered last month may be assigned to a different MCO this month.
What a monthly MCO scan catches
Plan and MCO reassignments
Provider network status changes
Authorizations close to expiry or out of approved units
Claims approaching each MCO's timely filing limit
WeRrcm runs this scan automatically on the 1st of every month, so changes are found before the next visit or claim, not after the denial.
